“One day we might witness the miracle,” his negativity towards Gotham could’t waiver her opinion. Although, she had seem far more beautiful cities than Gotham, not all of them started like that. “Don’t knock it ‘til you try it,” she told him with a smile before furrowing his brows at the Beyonce statement. “I’m not sure?” While she knew who Beyonce was, she didn’t keep up with the celebrities. To his following statement she shot him a smile, not replying to it verbally. “I think it you didn’t like being there? Not to mention, isn’t all of Gotham just a mirage? The parties, the suits, everything to cover up how bad it is getting. Of course it didn’t last too long this time.”

He smirked after hearing her hopeful opinion. Rick was doubtful he’d live long enough to see such a transformation, but the though was nice, pleasant. “’think I’ll pass. I don’t have a good side and hate the papz.” He joked though there was some truth behind his words. Rick shrugged, “We all had other matters that needed tending to–but in the case of supporting Bruce, I am glad I showed up. That, and my crew were available at the scene… not that a building filled with ‘superheroes’ required a team of elite’s to lend a hand.” Of course, the Colonel didn’t believe that powered-folk were more capable of doing the work himself and his team were born and trained to do, but that was the naive concept Waller had practically built Task Force X upon.
